You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MAINTENANCE CONTROL SPECIALIST (AIRCRAFT) in the FLEET READINESS CENETER SOUTHEAST MRO PRODUCTION DEPT PROD LINES DIV of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will coordinate program management schedules, monitor results, recommend improvements, and solutions to management teams.
You will ensure strict compliance with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790 and all instructions applicable to procedures, and processes used to support Flight Test and Ground Operations.
You will interact with Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and aircraft line personnel, and facilitate the efficient, safe processing of aircraft trough Ground Check and Flight Test operations.
You will Coordinate with Flight Operations to ensure aircrews are schedule and available to perform Functional Check Flights (FCFs).
You will prepare, revise and update position descriptions applicable to Ground Check and Flight Test.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: specialized experience;
Analyze, plan, and implement programs within specified cost and schedule related to ground checks and flight test operations.
Influence and persuade personnel at all levels and across departmental lines to accomplish program goals as needed.
Prevent or alleviate production delays, schedule conflicts or resources problems, that requires familiarity of basic requirements, and procedures of all departments in and outside the production area.
Ensure Flight Test Personnel are on duty, and radio communication is always established and maintained with aircraft.
