You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Enlisted Distribution Division (PERS-40) of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND.

Duties

You will schedule, track, and monitor Enlisted Distribution Training for almost 400 military officer and enlisted personnel and civilian employees. You will serve as a senior analyst, provide PCS order generation training to ensure regulatory compliance. You will act as a technical advisor to the director and divisional staff, providing impact statements on proposed changes to enlisted distribution policy. You will provide technical presentations/briefs to division personnel and senior leaders.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Creating decisions based on personnel distribution and placement policies; 2) Providing guidance to personnel on personnel manpower and procedures; and 3) Evaluating implications of new concepts, methodologies, and/or data systems on work requirements. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
Three (3) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
