This position is located in the Air Traffic Organization (ATO), System Operations Services, Office of Performance Analysis, Slot Administration. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted congestion management rules and policies consistent with the FAA’s duties to ensure efficient use of the National Airspace System (49 U.S.C. 40103), and the International Air Transport Association’s Worldwide Slot Guidelines (IATA WSG) at key airports in the United States.
Duties
The Management and Program Analyst is a recognized subject matter expert in a specialized area and provides leadership for highly complex and challenging activities under the minimal direction of a manager or executive.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- A written telework agreement that occurs as part of an ongoing regular schedule of 3 or more days per pay period, but not every workday .
Qualifications
Candidates must have one year (52 weeks) of SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (FV-I or FG/GS-13) that is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized experience at the next lower level, FV-I:•Use Successful completion of IATA’s training for Airport Slot Management and Coordination – passed with distinction.AND/OR•Experience processing scheduling requests at Level 2 or Level 3 airports in the U.S.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
