Duties
Serves as a functional Risk Management (RM) expert within the primary DLA Enterprise Risk Management(ERM) Framework in building and sustaining an exceptional combat logistics support agency capable to meeting the needs of the Armed Forces.
Develops a deliberate approach towards essential policies, procedures, programs, and oversight in the areas of Risk Management, Internal Controls, and Management Review.
Advises DLA senior leaders on policy, internal control issues and opportunities, process improvement, risk identification and assessment, and validation of corrective actions.
Develops official procedures at an enterprise level that records/tracks every significant financial footprint of the agency for tracking, record-keeping, accountability, and full transparency.
Facilitates Enterprise-wide Risk Management efforts with personnel from across the Agency.
Identifies risks throughout the enterprise and develops methods to correct and mitigate future occurrences of such risks.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Management and Program Analyst (Enterprise Risk Management) your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Identifying risks and developing methods to correct and mitigate future occurrences.
Advising senior leadership on policy, internal control issues and opportunities, process improvement, risk identification and assessment, and validation of corrective actions.
Developing, organizing, and conducting studies to capture vital information/data relating to audits/accountability and control methods.
Forecasting and evaluating risks, while developing procedures to minimize the impact.
Preparing and delivering briefings for Agency senior leadership on the progress/status of risk management efforts.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
