This position is located in the Facilities Operations and Maintenance (NWF) Organization of Workplace Services (NW), Chief Administrative Office (N), Bonneville Power Administration (BPA).
The purpose of this position is to serve as the Manager of Facilities Operations and Maintenance with responsibility for planning, managing and leading buildings management and facilities operations and maintenance of all BPA-owned facilities and commercial leased facilities and buildings.
Duties
As a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist, you will:
Serve as Manager of Facilities Operations and Maintenance and as a member of the Workplace Services' management team.
Make major recommendations and decisions which have a direct and substantial effect on the organization and program elements managed.
Exercise delegated managerial authority to set a series of annual and longer-range work plans and schedules.
Exercise delegated supervisory authorities and responsibilities, directing, coordinating, and overseeing the work.
Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
Serve as a member of the Workplace Services leadership team with responsibility for developing implementing and evaluating all programs and policies which ensure the timely delivery of products and programs in support of Bonneville's strategic business objectives.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience for this position is defined as: Experience 1) Leading a project or team in planning a buildings management and facilities operations and maintenance program; AND 2) advising executive management on policies related to buildings management and facilities operations and maintenance.
