About the Position: This position is with the 404th Army Field Support Brigade, Support Services Division.
This position may be filled as a term appointment NTE 13 months. See 'Additional Information' section for further guidance.
Duties
Complete cursory review of position descriptions to ensure compliance with position management and classification principles.
Confirm accuracy of information in official Requests to Fill (RTF) such as position paragraph and line number, and position description number.
Provide training and assistance on civilian personnel matters to managers and supervisors.
Interpret new and updated human resource management directives, policies, procedures, requirements for managers.
Provide accurate and timely processing of various requests for personnel actions (RPAs) in multiple databases and other Human Resources actions to higher headquarters and external agencies.
Review proposed workforce management and official structure actions for accuracy, objectivity, completeness, and sustainability.
Communicate effectively with external stakeholders on workforce planning initiatives and actions.
Requirements

- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Initiating recruitment and selection processes for serviced organizations; 2) Advising management on personnel regulations and administrative practices; and 3) Monitoring the recruitment status of personnel actions to prepare reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
