This position resides within the Portfolio Management & Technology Office, ANG-C, Human Factors Division, ANG-C1. NextGen is a comprehensive initiative that integrates new and existing technologies, policies, and procedures to reduce delays, and save fuel and lower aircraft exhaust emissions to deliver a better air travel experience. NextGen is supported by executive-level processes for ensuring commitment, accountability, and timely delivery of system improvements.
Duties
Incumbent applies education and detailed knowledge to assist senior staff members in the process to analyze and monitor systems engineering contracts, and other contracts supporting NextGen other disciplines to plan and programs. Assignments require knowledge and experience working on cross-functional teams and/or organizational lines. Typical assignments include tracking and analyzing data to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; working with senior staff to identify, analyze, and make recommendations for solutions of various problems; and recommending improvements to systems and processes.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- You will be required to report to the office at least twice a week as determned by management.
- This is not a remote position.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience is experience assisting in providing contract administration support in a technical or similar environment servicing performance-based contracts or complex contract types. Experience in assisting in providing financial support in a technical environment.ORTo qualify with education only a successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree. Must be gained from an accredited college or university.To qualify based on education, you must submit a copy of your college transcripts. If selected, official transcripts will be required prior to employment.Applicants should provide examples of specialized experience in their work history.
