About the Position: This Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Military) postion is located at I Corps Senior CDR AUG G-1 Personnel with duty location of Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.
Duties
Serve as the senior civilian in the Corps G-1 who provides direct support to the I Corps/Senior Commander in execution of operational personnel readiness, administrative control (ADCON), and Title 10 responsibilities.
Provide expert technical advisory services to the Senior Commander; Chief of Staff; and Special and other Staff Directors for integrated military personnel services.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the duration of your employment.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 30 Aug 1993.
- This position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 25% of the time.
- A one-year supervisory probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- This position is designated an Emergency Essential (Key) position.
- Incumbent may be required to work overtime on an emergency basis.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower level/grade position in federal service (GS-12).
