The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) provides operations support services and business solutions to the community of 10,000 House Members, Officers and staff. The CAO organization comprises more than 650 technical and administrative staff working in a variety of areas, including information technology, finance, budget management, human resources, payroll, child care, food and vending, procurement, logistics and administrative counsel.

Qualifications
• HS Diploma and four years or more experience in job discipline related to the position. The candidates must have a thorough understanding of systems and case good furnishings. • Proven experience and training in systems and case good furniture dis-assembly, and re-assembly. This includes the understanding and the experience in using moving equipment and be able to perform duties with minimal supervision. • Ability to de-assemble and reassemble modular furniture (systems and case goods) from various parts. • Ability to read floor plans. Certification on Modular furniture products is preferred. • Must possess good organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written essential. • Collaborative working style with excellent interpersonal, consultative and presentation skills required. • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in coordination with various teams within time constraints. • Experience working with Remedy Software preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. • Knowledge of the legislative environment, U.S. House of Representatives, and the operations thereof, preferred. • Must be able to manage highly confidential and sensitive information appropriately; and be able to secure and maintain Federal Government security clearances as deemed appropriate by senior management.
