Duties
Communicates the organization's mission, vision, and values to the team and ensures they are integrated into team goals, objectives, work plans, products, and services.
Monitors and reports on the status and progress of work, checks work in progress and upon completion for quality,
adherence to instructions and to ensure objectives are met.
Serves as coach, facilitator and/or negotiator in coordinating team initiatives and in consensus building activities
among team members
Prepares, reviews, analyzes, and coordinates records and reports to identify regulatory problems or inconsistencies in DFAS execution and reports.
Prepares, reviews, analyzes, and coordinates the Agency Statement of Assurance deliverables for approval by the Director, DFAS
Requirements

- Time after Competitive Appointment: Candidates must have served 3 months after latest competitive appointment in the Federal service.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:

In addition to meeting the basic requirement, qualified applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-13) in the Federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Specialized Experience is defined as: Worked with risk management, internal controls policies and statement of assurance deliverables by providing advisory and consulting services to senior leadership, operational managers and supported customers on internal control documents and reports; developing and implementing policy on internal controls, reporting and statement of Assurance deliverables; identifying discrepancies and their sources in consolidated internal controls and reports and prescribing corrective action or developing procedures to preclude recurrence.
Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. To be considered for the GS-14, applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-13 or higher in the Federal service.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
