You will serve as a PROJECT ANALYST within HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will plan, schedule, and carry out major projects concerned with the analysis and evaluation of programs or organizational effectiveness.
You will identify and prioritize strategic analytic questions and establishes analytic requirements in support of USINDOPACOM investment requests.
You will recommend course of action for accomplishing analytic work using all appropriate extant products and data-driven approaches.
You will analyze data to document trends and inform planning and programming efforts throughout the PPBE cycle.
You will prepare and present briefings to USINDOPACOM working groups and senior officer decision boards.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following:
1) Providing analytical support to advance key priorities.
2) Resolving complex problems that involve the integration of numerous military capability, capacity, and readiness assessments to determine gaps in theater posture.
3) Leading broad crosscutting organizational teams or working groups to design and implement frameworks for data collection intended to measure progress towards attaining organization objectives.
4) Preparing and presenting briefings to working groups and senior leader decision boards.
