About the Position: This position is located at the CASCOM, 58th Transportation Battalion on Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is in Pulaski County, Mo. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2hr. drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is a little more than an hour's drive to the West of Fort Leonard Wood.

Duties

Oversee the work of training technician s with the use of business efficiencies and recommend process improvements to imputing student grades and required data into DTMS for students in the Motor Transport Operator Course. Identify and schedule required training for military and civilian personnel. Maintains training files and status reports. Receive visitors and telephone calls, ascertains the nature of business and directs callers to the appropriate staff member. Utilize Defense Travel System (DTS) to arrange travel to include itinerary, billeting or hotel reservations and transportation. Prepare and submit travel vouchers. Collect information from subordinate staff, files, and records. Operate a computer terminal with word processing, database management, graphics, and electronic mail software programs to produce textual materials. Enter, revise, and retrieve data from the computer database; create charts, graphs and send and receive e-mail. Type in final form, a variety of narrative and tabular materials. Schedule and administer test material in accordance with test administration standard operating procedures. Maintain a document control log for all test material. Edit all material to ensure accuracy of spelling, punctuation, and grammar; adherence to established guidelines and procedures; and to ensure signatures, dates, and enclosures are present. Conduct inventories, assigns serial numbers, and catalogs new test materials; destroy obsolete materials. Assure tests are properly handled, administered, collected, and inventoried. Exercise physical security procedures of testing material.
