Duties

As a Writer Editor, you will perform the following duties: Responsible for the management of the production program. Oversees the production process to include developing templates, editing intelligence products, reviewing talking points and other authoritative, accurate written information on the programs, policies, goals, priorities and functions of ICE. Writes and edits products that may be both complex and controversial in nature. Provides virtual or on-site production development training as needed or upon request. Builds and sustains enterprise-wide intelligence policies and capabilities.

You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Communicating in writing information gathered within the intelligence community that may be potentially controversial or highly complex; Developing written products that articulate and convey objectives and priorities of the organization's intelligence community and its mission; AND Conducting independent research to develop authoritative information to be reflected in intelligence products.
