You will serve as a PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the Office of the Associate Dean, Student Affairs (OSA) of UNIF SRVS UNI OF THE HLTH SCI
Duties
You will resolve problems impeding the implementation and accomplishment of mission goals and objectives by evaluating, planning, and improving efficiency and effectiveness of program operations, procedures and policies.
You will coordinate all aspects of the clinical rotations (surgery, medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, OB-GYN, psychiatry, emergency medicine and other specialties) for clerkships, sub-internships and electives.
You will administer examinations for USUHS students.
You will provide direct support to all USUHS clerkship programs.
You will develop and maintain a database for tracking all aspects of teacher duties in the military teaching hospital's region.
You will prepare reports such as student statistics, course evaluations, and mission accomplishments.
You will participate in and/or arrange meetings and teleconferences related to the development, implementation, monitoring and completion of office projects and activities as directed by the USUHS clerkship directors.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
For the GS-09 grade level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: recommending solutions to improve the efficiency or effectiveness of a training or education program.
For the GS-07 grade level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: compiling data and preparing reports to support a training or education program.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
For the GS-09 grade level:
- Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR
- Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree; OR
- Successful completion of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled; OR
- A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
For the GS-07 grade level:
- Successful completion of one full year of graduate level education; OR
- Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement; OR
- A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
