This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Capital Access, Office of Credit Risk Management in Washington, D.C. This position serves as the supervisor, providing direct support to the Director of OCRM. The incumbent is responsible for leadership, planning, project coordination, organizing and leading program initiatives for the agency.
Duties
The incumbent assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments and capabilities of employees.
Give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters, find ways to improve production or increase the quality of the work directed, identify developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training.
Provides expert-level technical financial guidance and administrative direction to contract team members and monitoring the overall performance of contract analysts/reviewers.
Conducts reviews and resulting analyses of lender programs
Provides senior-level expert advice in the development of solutions to especially complex and difficult problems concerning SBA lender oversight programs.
Requirements

- You must successfully complete a background investigation.
- You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
- You may be required to serve a one-year supervisory probationary period.
- This is a non-bargaining unit position.
- This is not a (drug) testing designated position (TDP)
Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience (equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service) obtained in either the private or public sector: Analyzing, advising and recommending solutions on financial and audit issues/problems in all phases of the Lender Oversight program.
