You will serve as a Supply Technician at the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (FLCSN). Supply Management Department Mid-Atlantic which provides logistics and supply support services to fleet units and shore commands. The duty station is Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD.
Duties
You will maintain financial and physical inventory records of all petroleum products maintained by the Fuels Division.
You will process daily and monthly transactions.
You will analyze accounts rejects and reconciliation of accounts.
You will combine information to create transaction records in the Fuels Management Department ledger.
You will convert gross volume to net volume using conversion charts.
You will be responsible for inventorying, maintaining, and obtaining all required supplies, equipment, tools, safety clothing, and services throughout the Fuels Division.
You will provide customer service, fielding phone calls and visits from squadron personnel.
You will maintain inventory of all pilferable material and accountable property.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector using knowledge of supply management policies, regulations, methods, principles, practices, and procedures to perform the following:
1) Inventorying, maintaining, and obtaining supplies, equipment, tools, safety clothing, and/or services to support an office, activity, or command.
2) Using automated systems to enter, maintain, and retrieve supply management information
3) Maintaining financial and physical inventory records
4) Processing daily and monthly transactions.
5) Providing customer service face-to-face, over the telephone, and/or in writing.
