About the Position: This position is located in Falls Church, VA. This is not a remote position. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Duties

Define, establish, and direct organizational focus on challenging and highly complex projects/programs. Convert strategic goals into programs or policies. Work with senior management to establish new fundamental concepts and criteria and stimulate the development of new policies, methodologies, and techniques. Assess and provide strategic direction for resolution of mission-critical problems, policies, and procedures. Lead, define, manage, and integrate efforts of several groups or teams. Assumes and assigns ownership of processes and products, as appropriate. Manage DAD AS program actions and documentation to support DAD AS front office.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • One-year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
  • This is a DOD Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Management certification within 60 months as of entrance on duty.

Qualifications

Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. General Experience: Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the NH-01 grade level, which includes drafting standard operating procedures/guidance materials for use by organization; and managing documentation of acquisition programs; and developing new strategies for acquisition programs. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-01). OR Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. All Acquisition Workforce Positions Mandated in Title 10, USC, Section 1723. DoD 5000.52-M, DOD Acquisition Career Development Program contains specific requirements for acquisition categories and grade/level. The employee must meet the DODI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the Career Category/Functional Area and the Career Level Certification assigned on the sequenced position Conditions of Employment data filed in the header of the PD/PRD. Desired Experience: Experience in supporting DHA HQ or other Combat Support Agency HQ. Experience with formal tasking systems (e.g. ETMS2, CATMS) Existing Secret Clearance
