You will serve as a PROGRAM ASSISTANT of NSTC GREAT LAKES.
PAY RANGE FOR THE GS 7- $54728-$71148
PAY RANGE FOR THE GS 6- $49249-$64026
Duties
You will use an automated computer file system to update documents and files.
You will work with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint to develop reports and programs
You will compose correspondence from handwritten or electronic drafts using rules of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and format
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Receives visitors or phones calls, answering general program inquiries and directing other calls to the proper recipient; 2) Prepares and tracks correspondence. Receives and distributes incoming correspondence to correct recipients; 3) Operates a variety of electronic equipment (copier, computer, scanner, fax, etc.) and works with a variety of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); 4) Assists in creating, reviewing, evaluating, and sharing data based solutions for Candidate Midshipman issues, strategic goals, and initiatives to achieve improvements in efficiency and quality of program
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following; 1) Ensures data is organized in an effective manner which provides a clear understanding of current program status, areas of concern and board effectiveness; 2) Utilizes computer software programs including word processing, excel spreadsheets, power point or other programs to develop, maintain, utilize, and provide information; 3) Develops reports and information via organizing and manipulating data and exports data for use in other various types of software.
