About the Position: This Supervisory Management Analyst position is located in the Directorate of Public Works in Fort Belvoir, VA. Fort Belvoir is approximately 15 miles southwest of Washington, D.C., five miles from Alexandria, VA and next door to the community of Mount Vernon, VA.

Duties
Serves as a technical authority for work classification within the directorate.
Advise agency leaders on human capital strategies to meet financial management activities.
Manages work reception, human resources functions, and billing for installation utilities.
Oversea daily directorate operations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a Secret clearance.
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a two year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- This position is supervisory position and required a one year probationary to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1. Implement manpower and force development activities within the command, 2. Evaluate existing and future manpower allocations and authorizations, 3. Approve plans, strategies, milestones, goals initiatives required to meet force structure objectives and 4. Perform the full range of supervisory duties over personnel within the unit.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
