You will serve as a Senior Logistics Manager assigned to Code 32 Weapons In-Service Engineering Division of Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, Washington (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).

Duties

You will support the Logistic activities including Undersea Weapons, Unmanned Undersea Vehicles (UUVs), and Research and Development Projects. You will represent NUWC Division Keyport in the conduct of Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs). You will serve as representative on various DoD and Navy Logistics panels. You will execute Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) management techniques and principles as part of the Systems Engineering process. You will coordinate logistics resources to execute tasks as related to New Acquisition and Sustainment programs is essential. You will plan, organize, delegate work (to both internal and external activities), and analyze logistical problems and recommend solutions.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing leadership to support undersea weapons integrated logistics operations for an organization or program.
