You will serve as a Management Analyst in the S1 Administrative Directorate of the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity located in Quantico, Virginia.
All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Duties
You will serve as a Management Analyst within the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity responsible for maintaining the management, day to day function and overall administration of the Marine Attache Program.
You will ensure that the organization is adhering to internal and external (HQMC, DIA, DCI) reporting requirements.
You will maintain responsibility for such actions as: pay actions, promotions, travel, separations and retirements, movements by order, records management, Marine Online Personnel Action Requests, and travel vouchers.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- This position requires periodic polygraph examinations.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period.
- Occasional travel required for contingency/exercise support, briefings, conferences and training.
- Position may be called in for weekend/shift work to support contingency operations.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing input and managing the execution of the budget to track training, foreign environmental morale leave, emergency medical evaluations, and dependent student travel resources in accordance with Command/agency policies; 2) Keeping accountability of budget allocation to ensure that resources are available for military personnel when needed; 3) Utilizing databases to generate and maintain rosters, statistics, and personnel records that are required for Command/agency use; 4) Interpreting data and applying knowledge of military manpower issues, and corresponding administrative requirements in support of the Division/agency mission.
