Qualifications with Education: You qualify for the GS-09 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Assisting senior analysts by developing background information for studies; Researching official documents, compiling, and charting statistical data; Gathering, summarizing, and analyzing information for incorporation into final reports; and Carrying out segments of specific projects. OR Education: Master's Degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, such as a L.L.B./J.D. degree. OR Combination of Education and Experience: Combinations of successfully completed graduate school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify for a GS-09. Only graduate education in excess of the first year may be used to qualify. You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Assisting senior analysts by developing background information for studies; Researching official documents, compiling, and charting statistical data; Gathering, summarizing, and analyzing information for incorporation into final reports; and Carrying out segments of specific projects. OR Education: Master's Degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, such as a L.L.B./J.D. degree. OR Combination of Education and Experience: Combinations of successfully completed graduate school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements. Minimum Qualifications: For GS-11: One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-09 grade level or equivalent performing duties that include: Conducting studies of clerical work processes to identify, analyze and recommend solutions to problems in organizational structure; Using qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques such as literature searches, work measurement, task analysis and job restructuring; Assisting in liaison functions with other organizations, including effectively presenting the organization needs and establishing harmonious working relations with counterparts; and Assisting in the planning assists of special studies. OR Education: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or three (3) academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.M. if related. OR Combination of Education and Experience: Combinations of successfully completed graduate school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify for a GS-11. Only graduate education in excess of the first two years may be used to qualify. Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Qualification claims will be subject to verification.
