Duties
This position is located under the Office of Enforcement Programs and Services (EPS), National Tracing Center Division, Tracing Operations and Records Management Branch, located in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
The incumbent(s) of this position supervises a staff of program support employees within any of the three Branches of the National Tracing Center Division (NTC). The purpose of the work is to: 1) process firearms traces submitted by law enforcement agencies around the world, 2) maintain associated investigative support programs, and 3) analyze data within respective program areas to support criminal investigations and to develop investigative leads.

Qualifications
To qualify for a GS-13, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12.
Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Specialized Experience:
Leading and/or managing others; AND
Preparing briefing papers and reports; AND
Applying qualitative and quantitative analytical methods and techniques to evaluate quality operations; AND
Performing reviews and surveys to collect data, then evaluates and interprets.
