Duties
This position is located under the Office of Enforcement Programs and Services in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Serves as Assistant Chief with the responsibility for supervising an organizational entity that provides administrative and/or technical support.
Qualifications
To qualify for GS-15 candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14.
Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Examples of specialized experience include:
Developing long-range planning which includes administrative and operational matters, budgetary activities, strategic planning, formulating policies, fiscal/personnel resources and issues affecting program operations; AND
Preparing written recommendations and advising management of the organization's issues, concerns, initiatives and programs.
