Duties
This position is located under the Office of Enforcement and Program Services (EPS), Firearms and Ammunition Technology Division (FATD), located in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
The incumbent is responsible for developing and applying qualitative and quantitative analytical methods and techniques to evaluate FATD quality operations, measure the managerial effectiveness of quality related activities, and coordinate studies to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of FATD policies, procedures, and guidelines to assure the continued accreditation of FATD programs. FATD provides accurate and authoritative information needed by ATF to reduce violent crime and protect the public.

Qualifications
To qualify for 14, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13.
Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Specialized experience is:
Applying qualitative and quantitative analytical methods and techniques to evaluate quality operations; and
Preparing briefing papers and reports; and
Performing reviews and surveys to collect data, then evaluates and interprets; and
Investigating customer complaints, identifies problems and deficiencies; and
Managing projects and analytical studies of complex administrative, and managerial functions relating to the quality improvement, productivity, control, and related strategic planning.
