You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST (GTCC/DTS) ofCTR FOR AVIATION TECHNL TRNG. Salary Range for GS-09: $56,966.00 - $77,955.00 Salary Range for GS-07: $49,025.00 - $63,733.00

Duties

You will oversee program management support for the Defense Travel System (DTS), Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC), and Government Purchase Card programs. You will interpret instructions or regulations to determine the necessity for changes in purchase card program or procedures. You will use software applications to prepare and assist in the preparation of reports.

Requirements

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • If selected below the full performance level, you may be noncompetitively promoted to the next higher grade level after meeting all regulatory requirements, and upon the recommendation of management. Promotion is neither implied nor guaranteed.

Qualifications

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Utilizing automated systems and oral and written communication to coordinate approval of travel authorizations and vouchers, solve budget issues, and produce reports; 2) Reviewing travel documents to validate accuracy, completeness and compliance in accordance with travel guidance; 3) Applying Government Travel Charge Card Program regulations, laws, policies and procedures while serving as Agency Program Coordinator to manage a command's program; and 4) Monitoring transactions during billing cycles in order to take more timely actions against questionable cardholder transactions. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

GS-09 Level
  • Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree, or
  • Successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree, or
  • Obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled
GS-07 Level
  • Successfully completed 1 full year of graduate level education, or
  • Successfully completed a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement
