About the Position: This is a permanent position with the U.S. Army Military Police School (USAMPS), Directorate of Training and Education, Doctrine Developments Division, Collective Training Branch at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Duties

Maintain close and continuous contact with training departments to assist in applying ADDIE guidance to collective training material preparation. Provide review of Collective Training products produced by the Military Police (MP) School and non-proponent Collective products to ensure sufficiency of MP doctrine. Develop strategies to provide the foundation to identify, develop, acquire, and manage resources for the total MP Corps. Interact with a number of Army systems including Combat Developments (CD); the budget process; the ADDIE; and Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS). Responsible for the development and maintenance of information pertinent to the decision making process that culminates in the finished collective training program. Plan, conduct/participate in the analysis phase of the ADDIE process which includes front-end analysis (FEA), task inventory development, and critical task selection. Monitor receipt and processing of computer based technical information from the Combined Arms Center. Utilize knowledge of the ADDIE, TRADOC Reg 350-70 and the validation process in dealing with SMEs and doctrinal developers to ensure consistency and continuity between classroom instruction, approved doctrine and unit (collective) training. Perform writer/editor function for accomplishing assignments independently with work reviewed as progresses for conformance to guidelines and instructions. Coordinate with illustrators, visual information specialists, and subject-matter experts to ensure comprehensive dummy and camera-ready mechanical communicate the intended training.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Criminal Law. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (orequivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
