Duties

You will oversee the development of an energy and facility support program budget allocation for an organization. You will implement program initiatives (e.g., designing to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design [LEED] criteria, Energy Conservation Investment Program [ECIP]) to achieve energy management goals. You will provide advice to managers on the implications of proposed management decisions. You will develop and implement strategies to promote organizational mission, goals, objectives, and accomplishments.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: advising on energy policies, programs, and procedures; providing program management, strategic planning and program execution of Energy Program within requirements to accomplish energy goals across the region. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
