About the Position: This position is located at the CASCOM, 58th Transportation Battalion on Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Fort Leonard Wood is located in South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Ft covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, Missouri. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2 hour drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is more than an hour's drive to the West of Fort Leonard Wood.

Duties

Program master schedule of all classes of instruction within the Motor Transport Operator Course (MTOC). Prepare training aids and materials. Update course master schedules, identify training requirements and instructor prerequisites, coordinate sequence of classes, exams, and availability of required resources for various courses. Perform administrative functions for the division to include correspondence for courses and tracks awards and evaluations for assigned personnel. Receive visitors and telephone calls, ascertains the nature of business and directs callers to the appropriate staff member. Schedule and administer test material in accordance with test administration standard operating procedures. Assure tests are properly handled, administered, collected, and inventoried. Edit all material to ensure accuracy of spelling, punctuation, and grammar; adherence to established guidelines and procedures, and to ensure signatures, dates, and enclosures are present. Utilize a computer terminal with word processing, database management, graphics, and electronic mail software programs to produce textual materials. Arrange travel to include itinerary, billeting or hotel reservations, transportation and prepare as well as submits travel vouchers. Prepare a variety of recurring reports and special projects, search files for technical and nontechnical data.

To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: ClericalComputer SkillsIntegrity/HonestyManages and Organizes Information Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-04).
