About the Position:
This position is with business "Operations Branch Chief" DoD Education Activity HQ. Office of the Director Equal Employment Opportunity Programs Operations Branch in Alexandria, VA.
Duties
Provides expert analytical, evaluative, and consultative services to EEOP leaders on a wide range of organizational, structural, process, and resource issues.
Maps and analyzes complex organizational structures and processes in order to identify potential improvements to EEOP business processes.
Performs a full range of first-level supervisory responsibilities. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
Develop, disseminate and implement written internal control procedures to ensure compliance with the purchase card policies and procedures.
Actively participates with office management in formulating and implementing office administration processes and plans, evaluates, directs, and coordinates administrative services for the office.
Performs routine and non-routine office software operations involving a variety of systems (e.g., electronic database, (spreadsheets, electronic case management, IPTV, training systems, word processing, etc.).
Ensures effectiveness of office records systems, including mail management, docketing, and reporting. Oversees disposal and transfer of records as appropriate.
Oversees EEOPs budget and spending plans; organizes annual internal training event, ensures contracts within EEOP are secured, paid, and maintained within DoDEA and DoD guidelines.
Requirements

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:analyzing Equal Employment Opportunity Programs (EEOP) and initiatives; managing administrative support services, such as, records management, systems management, web services, purchasing, etc.; providing recommendations to improve the efficiency of EEOP operations; reviewing policies and/or regulations to determine impact on EEOP operations; and supervising employees and/or leading teams.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
