About the Position: Fort Rucker is the home of the US Army Aviation "Center of Excellence" and is located in the "Wiregrass" area in Southeast Alabama. Cities immediately around Fort Rucker include Enterprise, Ozark and Daleville. The geography and climate are ideal for year round activities to include boating, fishing, golfing and hunting.
Duties
Maintains long term archiving of data stored in the Army Safety Management Information Systems 2.0 (ASMIS).
Coordinates day to day operations and administrative actions for the U.S. Army Combat Readiness Center.
Monitors request for special events for the U.S. Combat Readiness Center.
Operates Microsoft Office products to include but not limited to: Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
Processes actions in accordance with regulations, policies, and guidelines and individual performance counseling.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) assisting with the administration of safety information database; 2) ensuring that safety reports comply with regulator guidance; 3) recommending changes to safety reporting procedures; 4) provide administrative support to all levels of an organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
I have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Operations.
OR
Less than one year; and I have at least one year of graduate education as described in B, but less than the required two years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify).
