You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the FMS PLANNING AND EXECUTION Branch (N72) of the Availability Planning Division (N70) of the Modernization and Installation Department (N00) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, Port Hueneme Division, Port Hueneme, San Diego, or Norfolk, Virginia Detachments.

Duties
You will serve as the Lead Aegis Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Lifetime Support (LTS) in Code N70,
You will serve as the Lead Technician relative to long and short term complex technical assignments oriented to the Aegis FMS LTS Project,
You will lead the LTS Team in planning and supporting scheduled maintenance requirements for the FMS Aegis ships,
You will engage in development of modernization work packages, implementation of those work packages and resolving equipment issues that need addressing during an availability,
You will provide technical direction of contractors and outside activities for matters pertaining to Aegis FMS LTS and associated projects,
You will conduct programmatic and technical briefings, develop plans and processes, schedules, and coordinate project oriented assignments involving multiple stakeholders, and conduct trend and metric analyses,
You will participate in the development of technical documentation and technical bulletins,
You will participate in feasibility studies to determine testing and process techniques and support equipment relating to ship configuration,
You will provide technical expertise to the procurement, documentation, logistics management teams, and similar organizations relative to the accuracy, adequacy, and validity of technical data involved.
Requirements
- This is a Security Cooperation (SC) position requiring DoD SC Workforce Certification with Execution Support Management area at the Basic level within one year per National Defense Authorization Act 2017, Title 10 United States Code, Section 384.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, applying electronic theory or engineering principles to providing technical expertise and support for technical efforts (e.g., development, test and evaluation, alteration and ship installation; assessment, investigation, analysis, evaluation, corrective recommendations) associated with the installation or modernization of naval combat weapons systems.
