This announcement is reopened to fill two (2) remaining part-time positions. This position will remain open until filled with a first cutoff date of 11 March 2024 for employment consideration. Duties

Serves as Duty Manager responsible for the security of 800+ room, full service military hotel and Armed Forces Recreation Center (AFRC). Security is provided on a 24 hour 7 day a week basis. Is responsible for the employee entrance video management system and for internal hotel security. Maintains constant radio contact with management and hotel operator, to ensure immediate contact for resolution of security issues. Assist the Military Police and DoD Police in maintaining security throughout the AFRC property. Provides a full range of security services to guests, patrons and employees. Reviews daily activity and incident report and initiates proper action in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations. Coordinates with the Executive Committee for the appropriate course of action in response to an anticipated threat or situation.

• Must be able to obtain a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and various hours of the day and week when required.

Qualifications

1. At least two (2) years of direct work experience in security 2. Proficient in reading, writing and speaking in English and able to understand and follow safety and security plans policies and procedures. 3. Experience in hotel security operations. ONLY THOSE CANDIDATES MEETING HIGHLY-QUALIFYING CRITERIA WILL BE INITIALLY REFERRED. IF MANAGEMENT DOES NOT SELECT A HIGHLY-QUALIFIED CANDIDATE, THEY MAY REQUEST AN ADDITIONAL REFERRAL INCLUDING ALL QUALIFIED APPLICANTS. HIGHLY QUALIFIED CRITERIA FOR THIS POSITION ARE: 1. Microsoft Office proficient. 2. Experience in operating and maintaining a video security management system and other electronic and automated equipment. 3. Experience in writing and reviewing emails, incident reports and shift logs. 4. CPR, AED, & BLS certifications or have the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
