About the Position: Serves as a Senior Management Analyst in the USAMC Logistics Data Analysis Center (LDAC). This position is located in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
Duties
Serve as liaison to the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) for management/employee relations, workmen's compensation, and employee benefit actions.
Provide guidance and assistance to the workforce on personnel matters in accordance with the appropriate statutes and regulatory guidance and procedures and conducts briefings and/or training to ensure regulatory compliance as programs change.
Perform internal tracking to maintain awareness of Requests for Personnel Actions (RPAs) created to address Table Distribution Allowances (TDA) authorization information and workforce needs.
Conduct studies and analyses planned to identify problems related to various manpower/personnel programs in order to effectively articulate the results with leaders, offer recommendations, and address the impact on the organization’s mission.
Utilize force structure and manpower data prepared for the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process to determine the impact on command force structure allowance and end strength restrictions.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position has an occasional Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Providing guidance/assistance regarding personnel matters to employees and management (e.g., compensation, benefits, position management and regulatory guidance); (2) Utilizing automated system(s) to track personnel actions and establish documentation to assist management; AND (3) Conducting studies to identify and propose solutions regarding personnel and manpower issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-12.
