You will serve as a ACQUISITION OPERATIONS MANAGER in MARINE CORPS SYSTEM COMMAND, UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will conduct analyses of organizational functions and processes to determine whether the systems currently in use effectively accomplish the objectives sought.
You will provide guidance and training to the organizational administrative team on operational processes and tasks.
You will assist in identifying requirements and obtain resources required to support the mission via workspace management and/or facilities management.
You will serve as organizational lead for Mission Assurance and Continuity of operations; gather, collect, and refine input for organizational situational reports and command chronology.
You will assist in the planning, development, and execution of budget requests, obligations, tracking, and spending plan development.
You will serve as the approving official for the government-wide commercial purchase card program.
You will review and revise processes and policies in support of organizational goals.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting analyses of organizational functions and processes to determine whether the systems (e.g. weapons/information systems) currently in use effectively accomplish the objectives sought; AND Identifying organizational requirements (i.e., space/facilities, equipment, etc.) AND obtaining resources required to support the mission workspace management AND/OR facilities management.
