You will serve as a GG-0132-13 Intelligence Specialist in the Tactical Development and Evaluation Squadron at COMNAVSPECWARDEVGRU in Dam Neck, VA, where you will provide technical advice on a wide range of complex analysis, evaluation, collection, interpretation, or dissemination of information and/or products relative to an assigned area(s).
Duties
You will evaluate intelligence collection in support of the intelligence production process.
You will perform extensive coordination and liaison both within the command and with external Department of Defense (DOD) and other government agencies, and advise the command leadership on all-source intelligence issues.
You will coordinate complex reports, studies, and briefings for select audiences.
You will utilize information obtained through research to develop and evaluate intelligence information reports and source directed requirements.
You will demonstrate extensive experience in human intelligence (HUMINT) targeting tactics, techniques, and procedures to provide oversight, assessment, and recommendations to support plans, policies, procedures, and concept development.
You will apply and maintain an expert knowledge of U.S. and Department of Defense intelligence policies, focused on the analysis of threats to friendly forces and the synchronization of all intelligence activities in the area of responsibility.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
- This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period.
- Travel on military or civilian aircraft, waterborne craft, deploy onboard ships, or serve at remote site as required.
- May be exposed to hazardous or hostile environments.
- Required to report to command when requested.
- May be required to travel approximately 45% of the time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as:
1. Perform extensive coordination within the organization and with external agencies to advise leadership on all-source intelligence issues.
2. Evaluate intelligence collection in support of the intelligence production process.
3. Coordinate complex reports, studies, and briefings for select audiences.
4. Provide intelligence technical oversight and guidance for human intelligence operations and technical services.
