You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the INTEGRATION AND TEST LOGISTICS BRANCH, WATERFRONT LOGISTICS DIVISION, MODERNIZATION AND INSTALLATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

Duties

You will serve as the Branch Manager and provide administrative, logistics, and technical leadership, managerial and supervisory functions to personnel. You will provide program management, logistics, and in-service engineering services to the fleet and in the Logistics Representative (LOGREP) competency. You will ensure Integrated Product Support (IPS) deliverables are properly managed, accurately inventoried, and safely transported. You will analyze workforce and resource requirements in support of operational readiness objectives and provide LOGREPs at various locations to assist with execution of modernization events and supportability assessments. You will perform research and analysis required to identify risks and develop mitigations to resolve issues. You will participate in Integrated Product Team meetings, and program level IPS conferences, reviewing and reporting on program office deliverables, and supporting various integration and test related events. You will develop plans for complex and comprehensive technical/logistics/engineering projects related to the Command's mission and define areas of responsibility within teams.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading Integrated Product Support (IPS) and lifecycle logistics elements to resolve programmatic, financial, technical, and logistics risks or problems impacting the installation and modernization of systems and equipment.
