You will serve as a Technician (Team Lead) in the Availability Planning Division, Modernization & Installation Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Port Hueneme, San Diego, or Norfolk.
Duties
You will serve as the technical lead overseeing long and short term complex technical assignments.
You will develop proposals, Work Breakdown Structures, (WBS), Task Planning Sheets (TPS) and reports in support of assigned projects.
You will provide technical expertise in AEGIS FMS and develop Aegis Combat System documents.
You will develop reports and white papers on technical justifications of combat system technical issues and provide frequent reporting to Program Offices.
You will conduct programmatic and technical briefings, develop plans, processes and schedules, as well as coordinate project oriented assignments involving multiple stakeholders.
You will conduct feasibility studies to determine testing and process techniques.
You will provide technical direction to contractors and outside activities.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying electronic theories or engineering principles to develop project management support documents (e.g., proposals, Work Breakdown Structures, (WBS), Task Planning Sheets (TPS), reports) associated with the installation or modernization of naval combat weapons systems.
