Duties

You will perform or advise on work in any phases or systems of budget administration. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets, and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will distribute and balance workload among employees in team work and/or specific technical training as necessary. You will communicate the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values and incorporate these into the teams goals, objectives, work products and services.

Requirements

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying a detailed comprehensive knowledge and understanding of budgetary policies, precedents, procedures, and regulations. Experience applying intensive knowledge of administrative and financial management systems. Experience identifying, analyzing and resolving a range of budgetary problems. Experience applying skill in analytical reasoning as well as the identification, analysis and conceptualization of budgetary problems and development of alternative solutions.
