You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Program Planning and Control Division of the Exploration Ground Systems Program, Program Planning and Control Division (LXB10) at the Kennedy Space Center and is responsible for the planning, analyzing, and administration of programmatic requirements.
Duties
Supports Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program Planning and Control division specializing in budget analysis.
Supports development of the Programming, Planning and Budget Execution (PPBE) products and analysis.
Supports all aspects of budget and financial management including recommending resource allocations based on trends, priorities, or risk evaluation.
Provides input to programmatic products addressing external reporting or data requests.
Evaluates program and project plans to ensure cost, schedule, and technical integration resource allocations align with programmatic priorities.
Monitors budget expenditures or schedule performance to identify potential problem areas and reports to Program Planning and Control and technical management regularly on financial or schedule performance.

- Current Federal employees must meet qualifications, time in grade, and 90 days after competitive appointment requirements by the closing date of the announcement.
- This is a bargaining unit position - American Federation of Government Employees - Local 513.
Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level.
executing the budget for assigned business areas, ensuring the appropriate funding source is used;
collaborating with stakeholders to determine funding requirements while participating in budget planning efforts; and
analyzing information gathered from multiple sources and integrating and presenting to senior management to support decision making.
