You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Division of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE.
Duties
You will prepare, coordinate and integrate the identification, acquisition and delivery of integrated logistics support requirements for systems or equipment installed on board ships undergoing modernization, conversion, or repair.
You will collect, interpret, and develop provisioning technical data (PTD) information assigned to major components of new/ extensively modified equipment systems of commodity classes.
You will identify ILS program planning and execution problems.
You will provide and coordinate all ILS aspects related to equipment alterations during maintenance availability.
You will review ship configuration and logistics support documents and validation aids for errors.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating a broad knowledge of supply chain management operations and Supply System policies and procedures; performing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) principles and concepts to plan, coordinate, support, and evaluate the maintenance, repair, and modernization of ships. I have experience identifying/analyzing ILS program planning and execution problems and assisting on the development of corrective action plans on board ships. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Gathering facts by conducting validation of shipboard equipment and systems ensuring accurate configuration information and the correct identification of logistics support elements; 2) Preparing oral/written presentations and initiating correspondence concerning any of all aspects of the project, logistics and ILS; 3) Recognizing, analyzing and solving difficult logistics problems related to ships and making technical recommendations; 4) Performing research on complex systems that are located on class ships; and 5) Applying a knowledge of various ILS elements such as: Configuration Management, Equipment-related Technical Manuals (TM), Planned Maintenance System (PMS) documentation, and Onboard Repair Parts (OBRP).
