You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGMENT SPECIALIST in the Prioritization, Planning and Class Execution Branch, Material Readiness Office, commander, Littoral Combat Ship Squadron Two of COMMANDER LITTORAL COMBAT SQUADRON TWO.
Duties
You will review all applicable new ship Change Documents (SCDs) for completeness and consistency with current policies, technical applicability and cost effectiveness.
You will plan, establish and maintain short and long range program objectives and ship configuration, modernization, maintenance and alteration installation plans and schedules.
You will coordinate all configuration and life cycle management technical assists and related visits.
You will serve as Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Hull Maintenance Manger providing continuity in the planning, scheduling, management and oversight of applicable class configuration and ship modernization program.
You will prepare, answer and process incoming and outgoing correspondence dealing with individual class ships.
You will provide assistance or conduct training of designated personnel.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: .
Planning, screening, executing, controling and logistics support for repair and overhaul of hull, mechanical and electrical, electronic and weapon systems.
Developing maintenance packages based on analysis of equipment performance reports.
Coordinating Class Configuration and Life Cycle Management with the appropriate Program Executive Office for ships and associate systems.
Planning, screening and advising on manpower requirements, financial requirements, equipment and supply requirements, training, storage, transporation, and facilities requirements.
Writing and communicating developing presentation, briefings, and position papers.
Utilizing regulations and policies and procedures to provide guidance with actions directly related to support maintenance and modernization.
