About the Position: Serves as Program Analyst for the HQDA DCS G-3/5/7 Administration and Resources Directorate responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all aspects of internal operational activities that occur in the G-3/5/7 Customer Service Center.
Duties
Provide expert direction and assistance for all operations and activities in the Administration and Resources Directorate in the areas of internal and external staff actions.
Develop predictive tools and provide results of analyses by making recommendations to stakeholders as to how the data can be used to make critical operational and policy decisions.
Review and analyze reporting requirements.
Monitor the timing and sequence of a number of suspense actions in various stages of completion within the directorate to meet fluctuating deadlines.
Serve as the Lead for knowledge management and process automation efforts for the organization.
Develop and manage applications with the knowledge of exposure to database administration and optimization of routines and processes.
Manages multiple systems, exercises independent judgment, and develops internal plans and procedures to improve daily operations.
Incumbent is the liaison between the G-3/5/7 and G1.
Develop data analytical methodologies to quantify training issues, evaluate measures of effectiveness, and determine the relative value of competing alternatives.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
GS-12 Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
GS-13 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: supporting operational activities within an organization such as internal and external staff actions; conducting studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of a program; and identifying solutions to improve and optimize productivity within a program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
GS-13 Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
