As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overall project management of projects which comprise complex initiatives in the Service Center Division.
The Service Center Division is dedicated to the operations, maintenance and technical support of the region’s facilities. We provide productive work environments, which enable tenants to focus on their core missions and business.
We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-11 salary range starts at $73,690 per year and the GS-12 salary range starts at $88,324 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected (2024 General Schedule Pay Table).
To qualify for the GS-11 , you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is utilizing project management practices and tools to manage or assist with construction and/or repair and alteration projects in a real estate environment.
This experience must include:
Managing projects (balancing scope/quality, schedule and budget) requiring the services of multiple disciplines (i.e., construction, design, IT, telecommunications, interior furnishings, etc.) from project planning phase through financial closeout;
Interpreting customer needs and developing them into actionable requirements.
Coordinating and balancing project plans, budgets, and schedules.
Coordinating and facilitating decisions with multiple stakeholders.
Applying procurement knowledge and experience to assist with managing contracts supporting assigned projects.
Participating in negotiations for sound real estate business transactions.
Education may be substituted for specialized experience: Have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or have successfully completed 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. To be creditable, graduate education must be in one or a combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
OR
Have a combination of graduate education and specialized experience that when combined together meet the qualification requirements of this position.
To qualify for the GS-12 , you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience utilizing project management practices and tools to simultaneously manage multiple construction and/or repair and alteration projects in a real estate environment.
This experience must include:
Managing projects (balancing scope/quality, schedule and budget) requiring the services of multiple disciplines (i.e., construction, design, IT, telecommunications, interior furnishings, etc.) from project initiation phase through financial closeout;
Interpreting customer needs and developing them into actionable requirements.
Developing, managing, and balancing project plans, budgets, and schedules.
Coordinating and facilitating decisions by managing multiple stakeholders.
Applying procurement knowledge and experience to manage contracts supporting assigned projects.
Negotiating sound real estate business transactions.
