These positions are located in the Division of Administration, Human Resources Branch, Staffing, Classification and Processing Operations of the FDIC, and are responsible for providing operational recruitment, placement, and staffing activities nationwide.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. CG-12: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 11 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as performing the full range of recruitment and placement functions utilizing merit promotion and delegated examining procedures including developing job analysis, preparing job opportunity announcements and making eligibility/qualification determinations using an automated recruitment system; and providing advice and guidance on human resources matters.
CG-13: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as performing the full range of recruitment and placement functions utilizing merit promotion and delegated examining procedures including developing job analysis, preparing job opportunity announcements and making eligibility/qualification determinations using an automated recruitment system; performing pay-setting; tracking and analysis of recruitment data; and providing consultative services on recruitment strategies and resources.
