You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst supporting the F/A-18 and EA-18G IPT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will provide sound budgetary and financial guidance and support to the IPT.
You will advise others on policies and procedures of budgeting, accounting or financial management to support financial management operations.
You will resolve day-to-day funding and programming issues as they pertain to the execution of the current fiscal year budget.
You will monitor actual obligations/charges, analyze financial requirements, and prepare fund utilization plans.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level 02 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
(DA-04): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/10) or pay band (DA-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. 1) Identifying, analyzing, and resolving a range of budgetary problems, including developing alternate funding methods and formulating budget estimates; 2) Tracking funding, validating expenses, reviewing transactions in accounting system, and reconciling accounts; 3) Assisting in making recommendations for financial data corrections; 4) Analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating funding plans.
(DA-03): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-5/8) or pay band (DA-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Extracting financial data from an automated system and formatting data into financial reports; 2) Assisting with financial analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of funding plans; 3) Tracking funding, validating expenses, reviewing transactions in accounting system, and reconciling accounts; 4) Assisting in making recommendations for financial data corrections.

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
