You will serve as a RESOURCES ASSISTANT in the ?HUMAN CAPTIAL MANAGEMENT GROUP, SKILLS MANAGEMENT, ADVANCED EDUCATION, STUDENT EMPLOYMENT & STEM OUTREACH (SASS) OFFICE of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE

Duties

You will use the purchase card to purchase authorized goods and services, using the card ethically, ensuring availability of funds before purchase and, purchasing supplies and services from mandatory sources. You will maintain a log for all purchases, obtain receipts, and reconcile bank statement transactions with purchase log. You will enter data into various logs and databases in Excel, SharePoint, Fusion and MS Teams maintaining paper and electronic files. You will support multiple internal programs and monitor New Employee Orientation on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • Generally, current federal employees applying for STRL jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower pay band. This requirement is called time-in-band. Time-in-band requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

DG-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DG-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Using the Government purchase card, and understand commonly used purchase card practices, standard regulations, and procedures for purchasing supplies and equipment; 2) Utilizing office automation to create, retrieve, update, manipulate, and store electronic data using excel, SharePoint, and Fusion; 3) Communicating effectively using tact and courtesy. DG-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DG-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Using the Government purchase card and understands commonly used purchase card practices. 2) Utilizing office automation to create, retrieve and update data. 3) Communicating effectively using tact and courtesy. DG-03:
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

4 years of education above high school
