You will serve as a Business Director of Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington
Duties
You will ensure command-wide implementation of any external (legislated) constraints as well as locally established management parameters.
You will serve as the principal leader in the development and implementation of the commander's strategic direction and objectives, and business process improvements.
You will exercise final authority for full range of personnel actions and organization design proposals recommended by subordinate supervisors.
You will provide for the planning, requirements determination, and documentation of military and civilian manpower requirements.

- This is a Critical Acquisition position. Member of the Defense Acquisition Corp is required. Incumbent must sign a Critical Acquisition Position Service Agreement, Form DD-2888.
- The work is mostly sedentary and performed in an office environment. Travel by car or air is required 20% of the time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Overseeing business performance of a major organization or command; 2) Integrating the command's structure, strategy, and governance, processes, future requirements, budget allocation, and strategic direction to achieve internal efficiency and effectiveness; 3) Directing strategic business thinking and subsequent planning and operations, ensuring they are in sync with an organization's mission and objectives; 4) Providing expert leadership and managerial skills to advise and influence other senior managers regarding operational policies encompassing people, budget, and processes; and 5) Accelerating organizational effectiveness for a major organization or command through expertise in strategic thinking, business analytics, planning, resource management, policy oversight, command-level or organization-level oversight, and business processes.
