Summary:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overall project management of projects which comprise complex initiatives. Overseeing the project management of the complex building and/or leasing projects from project identification, through initiation, planning, execution and closeout stages.Location of position: Public Building Services, Office of Design and Construction, Washington DC.

If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is utilizing project management practices and tools to simultaneously manage multiple construction and/orrepair and alteration projects in a real estate environment.
This experience must include:● Managing projects (balancing scope/quality, schedule and budget) requiring the services of multiple disciplines (i.e., construction, design, IT,telecommunications, interior furnishings, etc.) from project initiation phase through financial closeout;● Interpreting customer needs and developing them into actionable requirements;● Developing, managing, and balancing project plans, budgets, and schedules;● Coordinating and facilitating decisions by managing multiple stakeholders; 6 Last updated 04/11● Applying procurement knowledge and experience to manage contracts supporting assigned projects; and● Negotiating sound real estate business transactions
