About the Position: This position will serve as a Program Analyst for the Joint Special Operations Command.
This position is located in MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.
Duties
Lead a team to analyze, develop, and assess plans for the execution of internet-based Military Information Support Operations (MISO) and Information Operations (IO) support for the Command.
Subject matter expert involving DOD, interagency, and partner nation web-based operations and other information related capabilities integration.
Subject matter expert on internet-based Military Information Support Operations, doctrine, policies, concepts, techniques, and procedures.
Serve as the technical lead on planning, development and execution of MISO operations.
Serve as senior staff action officer and represents the organization with respect to plans, policy, operations, training and readiness.
Evaluate substantive program operations, management and organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
Requirements

- In the event of severe weather conditions or others such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disasters, the incumbent may be required to report to work or remain at work to support the mission operation.
- May be subjected to short notice recall. Must reside within 50-mile radius of duty location.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information and potential Special Access Program authorization access for the duration of employment.
- The duties of this position meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter.
- This position may require Temporary Duty (TDY) 30 days or less travel to various locations approximately 20% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: The development and coordination of internet-based Military Information Support Operations (MISO) and/or Information Operations (IO) support; generate recommendations for new operational programs, policies, and doctrine; AND develop and assess long-range plans which affect decisions on actions concerning programs within an organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
